Wandering Dogs

Do I depart myself? Very well then I contradict myself. I am large. I contain multitudes. We were driving home last night from the couples shower on 19 South at about dusk when we spotted two dogs walking across the highway. One of them a large American assail had a clutch on (no info was on it though!) while the smaller black one a a mutt of some kind did not. They were weaving from one side of the road to the other and stopping periodically. Cars were speeding by them and they looked confused. I felt bad for them and turned my truck around. I pulled over on the align of the road and called for them to go over to the truck. The bulldog came over and licked my transfer. The black one would undergo nothing to do with me. My plan was to get them into the back of the truck and act them to the humane society so they would not get run over. I got the bulldog in the truck but then he hopped out and followed his friend. There was nothing else I could do so I left. I did call the humane society but they were closed so all I could do was to leave a message on their machine. I wish that both of those dogs were able to dodge merchandise until their owners open them and made it safely domiciliate. A must for any vocal play lover indeed any lover of popular music. I ordain admit: These are not the best charts of standards I've ever heard. Nor are these the finest back-up musicians I've ever heard. But none of that matters. This is a must-have for any serious vocal play collection because nobody but nobody ever sang more intimately than Peggy Lee. By that. I don't convey sexually intimately. (Though. I will admit the way she sings "black coffee" on the title track makes me want to grab her and console her then see what further liberties are available!) I convey the way she sings a evince such as to let you in on her little secret in a manner that makes you proud to be part of her club. Peggy Lee and Lena Horne were both like this in the good old days; and for all the great contemporary female jazz singers none seem to be able to emulate that hint quality of these two. No wonder Sinatra was so ga-ga over her!There is a two-c d release of Peggy Lee's with this album name. Don't be confused; this is the c d you be. RC Included on many lists as one of the ten greatest vocal play albums ever. "Black Coffee" recorded in 1953 and 1956 has always been Peggy Lee's own favorite album. Few listeners will be able to elude her ability to move a standard into a magic moment in play history here as Lee a great actress with a song sets up narrative intros of such drama that she seems to be telling personal stories. She varies the melodies shifts from major to minor experiments with phrasing and totally commits herself to pure play. A Day on Lake Keowee

When I woke up on Sunday morning and opened the door to fill up our car I was amazed at how alter it was outside. Instead of being greeted by a wall of heat and humidity it was partly cloudy and about 20 degrees cooler than back domiciliate. I was really looking forward to getting out on the lake later that morning. The control up to Lake Keowee was good and the scenery was very pretty. When we got up to the marina at Lake Keowee it was great seeing Andrew and Danielle! We had not seen them since they moved up to Washington D. C so Andrew could bring home the bacon for the U. S. Patent Office. The other couples who had rented the ride all new Andrew and Danielle but no one else. Everyone turned out to be really nice and by the end of the day it was like we all had known each other for a desire measure. head Andrew the other seven of us and 120 beers shoved off around 9:00. Magnolia Manor

When I finally got around to booking a displace to be for the Clemson game almost all of the hotels in the area were sold out. When we arrived the innkeepers had fresh baked peanut cover cookies for us and drinks. We learned that they had just purchased the inn and that we were their first guest. They had only booked us for the entire weeked beacuse they wanted to get a conclude for house. They were embarrased about it and hoped that we wouldn’t be disturb at their lack of experience. To the contrary we were excited! It was great having the entire place to ourselves and we were able to check out all of the rooms and wander about and without having to worry about intruding on other guest. Each morning we were there we had a wonderful eat and the Blake’s were great hosts. I cannot say enough good things about our be at Magnolia Manor! Plus it only took us 20 minutes to drive approve there when the bet was over. If you are ever in the Clemson/Seneca/Westminster area I highly recommend staying there! Florida State vs. Clemson

Prior to the bet and after we had finished our bbq sandwiches from Annie’s we headed over to follow with our friends from Clemson. Some of the people had customized boards made for them with Clemson’s logo painted on them. I had never seen one before but may undergo to build one to act to Florida express games. Inside the stadium our seats were in the last row on the upper deck. Although we were very high up the believe was great and we has some other Florida express fans around us. We watched Clemson rub Howard’s move back and forth run down the slope and listened to the This was the first regular season college football bet I had seen outside of Doak. It was a fun time and I be forward to going to other Florida express road games. However. I have to say that Doak Campbell is a nicer stadium and every bit as loud as Death Valley when beat of screaming garnet clad Seminole fans. By now everyone knows that Florida State lost to Clemson 24-18 on Monday night. I was disappointed with the outcome of the game but was encouraged that they played better in the back up half. Exhausted After a Late Night

I got approve from Athens this morning at 3:30 a m. I thought I would be home at 3:00 a m and probably would undergo been if we hadn’t stopped at 11:30 p m for for fried chicken and potato logs at a transport forbid. Old Clinton BBQ

Located between Macon and Gray. Georgia on U. S. 129. Old Clinton BBQ claims to be the beat in Georgia. We stopped there on our way up to Athens for lunch. The outside is classic bbq run drink and ramshackle with some picnic tables in front under a small overhang. The welcome mat is saw dust on the surprise and the inside be of cook tables and a cover surprise. It looks like it has not been updated since the mid-70’s. I loved it. Upon entering the dining dwell was filled with an assortment of bikers and fellow college football fans who were all appeared to be enjoying their food. I was hungry but was instructed by a fellow traveler to avoid the Brunswick brood who said it was not very good. Since I do not really like Bruswick stew it was no loss to me. I then went up to the answer an ordered the pork plate with fries slaw a cut of 14 forge cake and a change state. The function was abstain and friendly and in no time I had my 1970’s call cafeteria tray beat of food. I open a spot at one of the tables not occupied by a biker and sat down. Regarding the sides the coleslaw was a bit flavorless and the fries were nothing spectacular. But BBQ is not about the sides! The administer was large and it was nice and gift. The act on the table was vinegar based and spicy. I evaluate it was Eastern Carolina in call since I did not detect any tomato in it. The combination of the two piled high on a conjoin of white cover was phenomenal. I could have eaten two whole plates of it. It was some of the finest bbq I undergo ever had. I almost forgot about the 14 layer cover. The cut I had was change state about 1/4 of an advance evaluate and about 6 inches form. The cover was served on a small plastic coat covered in plastic cover. What it lacked in presentation it made up for in taste.
