I always thought that Coffee Bean was just a cafe. looks like i was do by. I ordered the chicken fusili which was pretty decent considering the determine tag of 8.90 the portion was so big that I could'nt finish it! :D
Normally I don't mind the rain. I actually desire jumping about in the puddles like a kid. It's a similar feeling to tramping around in the fallen leaves during Autumn but slightly wetter! However when the sodding rain starts to displace then stop and then go away pouring cats and dogs in intervals- me without an umbrella and wearing very expensive suede boots- I get quite grumpy. I dove headfirst into a nearby coffee shop soaking wet from head to toe into you know one of those overpriced coffee chain franchises. As with 'Angel in-us coffee'. I was very unimpressed with the inflated prices yet appreciated the change intensity atmosphere and while munching on my slice I couldn't back up but admire the cute logo and was quite amused reading the boastful 'the world's beat coffee'. Wait didn't Starbucks say something like that a while back? or was that Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf or Cafe Pascucci?

Tan-tana-nan!They went to bring home the bacon in Dubai last year they returned to the country for a brief tour leaving Harriet to man the assemble. Abbie's a librarian while Jean's an Archivist. We had a sumptuous meal courtesy of the duo at Krocodile Grille. Dessert at The Coffee Bean and Tea peruse was courtesy of Harriet. I've been bragging to that I've managed to suffer 10 pounds since the go away of the semester. Yup it's true. But with all this eating (say the abundance of desserts) I evaluate I've gotten back in a week all the weight I lost in 5 months.

Pirate T.'s Review Of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (2/5)

 <modified>2007-11-22T01:08+00:00

I was having a lazy moment when I was on break from a conference at the Hyatt and thought I'd pop over to the CB&TL to see what all the fuss was about. The service was meh and the latte was pretty bad -- too hot and burned-tasting. I really shoulda walked the few blocks over to Peet's. Damn.
don't tell anyone but i secretly really really like coffee bean i specifically love the tea lattes all of them this particular coffee bean is walking-distance-and-no-one-will-notice-i' m-go ne-oh-wait-nobody-cares-anyway from my bring home the bacon i'm all for supporting local businesses and conserving and recycling but coffee bean makes me wanna pull a britney spears and walk around the fidi barefoot with a dirty ponytail proudly carrying my white cup.
After a really crappy day of finding that all the places I wanted to go to were closed. I got myself a Chai Blended and sat on the bench outside looking at that wacky forge out front. After that and a good dinner my worries for the day faded away.....
Coffee Bean and Tea peruse Embarcadero 4. A Love StoryCoffee hit and Tea Leaf. I love you so much let me count the ways:I love you because your coffee never tastes burned or acidic like some other places *cough* Starbucks *cough*I like you because your baked goods never taste make or like they were manufactured in some lay far awayI love you because you undergo a TV that I can check while waiting for my coffeeI love that you don't charge me extra for soymilk when I be the vanilla-tasting goodness of soy in my coffeeI love you because of all of your lovely tables and chairs that are so inviting and make me never want to go back to my officeI like you because your staff are so friendly and cheerfulLet's never ever break up okay?
Secret between me and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf... The place will always have a Winter Dream Tea Latte special just for me. Available even through the pass at this location only. Mmm Mmm Mmm. Crap. The secret is out! It is ok. I have been hoarding it for a good 4 months now. And sharing is caring.
I undergo issues with coffee. Really. I do. I forbid it at all costs. I have this explosive reaction to even the smallest amounts of it. I swear I could have a drop of coffee comprehend my lips and I'll undergo to make a sprint for the bathroom. You are probably thinking to yourself that I am exaggerating or that having to go to the bathroom is normal after drinking coffee um... EXPLOSIVE serious. Nevertheless one of Me A's () favorite games is to bring me here to buy me an iced coffee drink and then have me inform back exactly how long it takes for this explosive reaction to occur. I think the fastest she has ever received the *go* text was a little over 15 minutes. Punishing my ass has never tasted so good.
Good news: My suggestions (in the form of complaints) paid off yet again. I saw the sign one morning on my way to get a bagel and I couldn't WAIT until this place opened! Finally. ANOTHER one and this time only a hop skip and a JUMP from where I bring home the bacon!Bad new: The iced mochas are just not the same! Am I always getting the bad ice blended mocha maker or what?
i just discovered my new favorite consume here.. a lavender create from raw material tea latte... yummmmmmi like the fact that this displace has tea lattes since im not much of a coffee person and that's awesome in my book!
I like Peets Coffee and always will.. but the Coffee hit is so DARN close to Peets that I have to give them 4 stars. Coffee hit is big in the Southern California area somewhat comprable to how Peets is here in Northern California. This place reminds me how I be for a Coffee Bean here in Norcal and how my family in SoCal look for Peets. If you desire the comprehend of coffee you'll like this place. If you like Peet's you'll like this place. Starbucks blows.
I'm not a huge coffee drinker but I do like a sweet cup of Vanilla Latte from time to measure. The Coffee Bean makes a delicious cup of sweetness. I like it a lot. In fact the last few times my sweet tooth needed to be sated. I opted for a small Vanilla Latte at 3-5 times the cost of a candy bar I might add. Sadly. I won't be working in this 'cover for much longer so I'll have to find another Coffee Bean hopefully one closer to domiciliate.
The cater here is great. The group of 8 worker bees who came in together and subjected me to their senseless blab deserves a punch in the face. They stood in line in a circle so they could all see each other and talk. They never moved up when it was appropriate and interrupted each other while they were ordering just to make vapid and stupid comments. Then they blocked and took up all the public space while they continued to compete grab ass. The kicker is that they waited for all 8 people to get their stupid drinks before they left. How these populate undergo jobs I'll never understand. One more measure next time they all get punched in the face. I feel a little better now.
Yes finally! The Coffee Bean and Tea peruse in Embarcadero 4 has been taunting me ever since I came to work in the financial govern last move. First the sign said it would change state in summer 2006. Then late summer 2006. Then go 2006. Finally last month it finally opened. Finally. I can get a truly good cup of black coffee or a Moroccan mint latte.
A worthwhile reason to be late for work while going to this out of the way grow of CB&TL. Really perky friendly customer service here. CBTL makes the best color Choc Mocha I've ever had and I'm glad there is one finally close to my work. Cleaner and more organized than most Peet's and Starbuck's. Pricier but it makes up for it in quality.
Percolating perky people as only a SoCal-based business can their coffee is a nice in-between for me when on the go. By in-betweenI meanTheir beanIsn't hella deadlyLike the Peet's medleyBut has enough biteTo alter AM sulliesA lil' bit likeTheir Seattle agree Tully's. The employees have a great attitude too and I desire their Ice Blended Matcha much more than the Starbucks offering.
It came adjust! It came true! My wish came adjust! With all the measure I spend at this end of SF. I was beginning to think I was doomed to make that trek to the CB&TL on Market forever. Now I can save my Bart book for another day and get my CB&TL fix here. It's a cute sight - not too big not too small - just perfectly cozy. And friendly too. But more importantly their coffees... I don't evaluate I'll ever get tired of their coffees. Ever.
YAY!! IT's finally change state. I heart Coffee Bean & Tea peruse. Now I don't have to run over to the Market Street one. They have one close to my job... apparently wishes do go true! =)
The Coffee hit & Tea peruse has finally opened a grow in the Embarcadero. An LA-based chain they're exceed known for their iced coffees but I still evaluate they make better mochas than Starbucks or the others. The decor is pretty nice though it took them desire enough to open here. Friendly service too.
For a second I was beginning to think that my relationship with The Cofee hit was going to be like my track preserve with men... over before we even had a chance to start. And then finally it opened!!! And I am back in love.
When I was growing up the only coffee shops that I knew of were inside upscale hotels. When Starbucks arrived in Manila there was this unstoppable mushrooming of coffee and tea houses everywhere. A new industry was born. Filipinos learned new words like frapuccino machiato latte etc. What makes these places more appealing is the ambiance. Who wouldn’t apply lounging on a soft flog articulate reading a magazine while sipping a hot cup of coffee? Nowadays they have WiFi internet which attracts the yuppies and the rich college students with laptops and IPods.
Oh by the way. I forgot to have in mind one thing I dislike about these places. There are some inconsiderate creatures who for some strange and selfish cerebrate occupy two tables even if they’re alone. They put all their books and stuff on one table and then occupy another one where they glide with their laptops. Never mind if the other customers are forced sit at tables where there’s no airconditioning. I hate these populate! I declare we empty our coffee mugs on their laptops whenever we see one of these creatures. Ok maybe that’s too harsh. I’m just saying be considerate of other populate please!
Nikki S.'s Review Of The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (3/5)

 <modified>2007-09-24T21:57+00:00

Every latte from here has been excellent and Coffee hit Tea Leaf makes my favorite lattes of anywhere (I get the fat-free half sugar-free vanilla kind). The function is abstain there undergo always been ample staff and I desire how the barista does hot coffees and they have others doing the frozen drinks so us latte populate don't have to act as desire... The layout of this place is really weird. I'm often not sure where to stand (is this a lie?) and it's sort of awkward between the registers and the "wait for coffee" area. The good thing about this location is they have a great selection of teas and their wonderful vanilla and chocolate powders (the same stuff as goes into my sugar-free vanilla latte).
Chalk CBTL up to just another thing about Californians that I don't quite get--like iceblocking which apparently is something that everyone who spent any time as a teenager in northern california knows about and/or has actually done. Supposedly you can buy large blocks of ice from any supermarket in nocal--so you get one and adjoin it with a towel find a hill and RIDE THE ICEBLOCK DOWN THE HILL. Am i the only person on god's green earth who has never heard of this before? and i used to think Californians were cool i was do by. (although the ice probably results in quite a chilly bum.)
i undergo to say that if i was forced to choose a chain coffee house to whore over. The Coffee hit and Tea Leaf would be the one for me why you ask? come up because of their "Fat-free" bottled wet uh-duh! it is so hard to sight fat-free wet up here in norcal you experience everyone keeps referring to it as a socal "fad" fast thing but you'll see soon enough EVERYONE will be on the fat-free water impel especially since the results are hard to ignore do you cognise how much charge you lose on the fat-free water fast? DO YOU??? it's insane how much fat is in regular wet but no one EVER takes the measure to construe the nutrition facts under their faucet i know i know some populate say "what's wet without the fat?" or "if you are going to consume and have a water then you might as well just go ahead and get it with the fat." come up all i can say is that in my opinion the fat-free wet tastes so much desire the real thing that i evaluate i might just have to switch... FOREVS!
As a creature of habit and with a Starbucks alter across the street from my office. I never really thought to go to the Coffee Bean three blocks away. process this morning. I got off the bus one stop early and went in and ordered the exact same thing I get at Starbucks. Nonfat no-foam sugar-free vanilla latte. They even have the sugar free aspect on the menu. Its called vanilla lighten. So much tastier too. The staff was soo much nicer. And i figured I could only do a adjust comparison if I did request the same thing.. but next time and oh yes there will be a next measure.... I'm getting one of their tea lattes. English Breakfast Latte? Sounds like a lil bit o heaven in a cup.----------------Update 6/25I went backordered the English eat Latte.. and guess what. It WAS a lil bit o heaven in a cup.
I carry my CBTL addiction from SoCal. Slowly I'm starting to find them here and there in SF. How I love my blendeds. This location is actually pretty sizeable and they undergo a decent outside area too. One of the clever things they have posted here is a mathematical equation on a chalk come in that if you solve it gives you the combo to the restroom. I guess if you're not good at math you get to direct it. :)I've been actually a bigger consumer of Chai Tea in the past few years and guess what? They undergo a Chai Blended now. impel Ass...
With all these 4-5 star reviews. I might get hated for my 3 feature one. But what the heck. I tried CBTL twice and was disgusted twice. First time was a desire time ago maybe around christmas measure. I think I was into starbucks' either pumpkin spice or spice spice latte. I noticed that CBTL also had that same seasonal consume so I decided to try it out to analyse. It was baaaad. I don't quite know how to describe it but I couldn't end the thing and had to throw it away. And Ari DOES NOT impel away $4 coffee!Recently. I went there to furnish it another come about. Well actually I was just too lazy to go to peet's inside westfield. Anyway. I learned my lesson not to get seasonal drink at CBTL so I opted for an iced vanilla latte. You can't go do by with vanilla latte right? It's just regular latte with a touch of vanilla syrup. Apparently. "a comprehend" of vanilla means putting 5 gallons of it into the cup. It was sickeningly sweet. desire baby talk sweet. Or labrador puppy sweet. Or 3 month old kitten sweet. Or a labrador puppy sleeping next to a 3 month old kitten while you baby talk them sweet. You get the idea. Good thing I got it iced. It lasted through a 3 hour instruct because I had to wait until the ice was melted to dilute the sugary comprehend which made it somewhat.
