It seems that cockpit cleanliness has gone out the door recently at least in the aircraft I have been in lately. It just keeps getting worse maybe I am flying behind the same crew on all my 4 days but it just gets a little irritating. We all have been in the situation of parking on 61 just to have to go out of the northside with less than 30 min til go. But you still have a few minutes when the passengers are unloading to clean up after yourself. I dont mean to be an *** but I really do have better things to do than clean up after someone. I am going to start leaving notes in V files for people like the ones who brought in flight 2140 from SLC this morning to B87. It was bad enough that there was crap strung out all over the cockpit but I didnt appreciate having to dispose of FO Nye's orange juice. Then to make matters worse my CA got a pleasant surprise when he placed his coffee in his cup holder. CA Hawkins left the cupholder (NO CUP... ACTUALLY IN THE CUPHOLDER) half full of coffee. C'mon guys its not like you have to sanitize the cockpit (or make sure the gear handle is REALLY clean) but lets look out for each other. I know we are all adults here but honestly your mommy's do not work here and how pissed would you be if you started getting ready and noticed other peoples beverages napkins and all sorts of other crap all over the place. Just use some common courtsey and pick up after your self. They are not for cleaning screens and other stuff they are for cleaning your hands. Likewise the sanicoms were not meant to clean your hands because they really didnt kill any germs on hands they were meant to clean screens and other stuff. Ive got a stash of the new ones in my bag its glorious. __________________I used to be forced to "Officially" have no stance on gojet now that no I longer work for "The Holding Company" my "Official" stance is well you know what that is and if not let me know ill explain it. ATIS card bag sheet etc) put your headset away throw your trash away. It ain't that hard. If you spill something wipe it up. At least make an attempt. If you get one of the plastic galley trays from the FA in flight put it back in the galley. And don't leave trays of monkey meat in the cockpit for the next crew - I don't want that crap. Throw it out. I don't care about the full trash bag - I can replace that. Just make sure you put all your trash in it. If not expect to find it in your v-file or possibly even your flight case if I happen to spot it. I hope you didn't leave any monkey meat in the cockpit and then go on vacation...
