"ISO FRESH Mochi Ice Cream..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-01 21:44:08

I'm sure many of you have see Mochi's and Mochi Ice Cream treats around in some supermarkets in Toronto (like the T&T). However. I am wondering if any shops/restaurants in Toronto made their own mochi ice beat FRESH? Are you referring to Yukimi Daifuku ice beat wrapped in gyuhi?(Mochi and ice cream wouldn't go together well because mochi is eaten hot. If you chill mochi it will harden and become inedible. If you mean Yukimi Daifuku. I don't think you ordain sight a restaurant that serves it. It's junk food and I think restaurants would not consider them a valid dessert (desire you won't get Freezies as a dessert) and secondly wagashi or Japanese sweets are usually offered separately as a teatime snack and does not make part of a meal or should I say most Japanese call meals do not have the concept of serving desserts to begin with (with a few exceptions of cover e g kaiseki). In Japan if you want to buy/eat wagashi (non-supermarket quality) you would go to a wagashi store (Japanese version of a Western patisserie) or a kanmi-dokoro ("sweets shop" that serves tea and wagashi). If you be fresh stuff made you can always make your own. Not hard at all:) I feel desire Westfalen was referring to Taiwanese Mochi desserts... I'm not sure if there is a difference between Japanese and Taiwanese Mochi but I experience I've had frozen mochi + ice cream desserts that were far from inedible. My friend was raving about something like this that she's been eating in California. Now I'll undergo to act my eye out at T&T! Unfortunately I haven't been to any restaurants that serve them.

"Work Day 2 In Eindhoven, Netherlands" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-22 01:08:20

The meetings today all went very well. The rain finally stopped and we got to see the pretty go scenery on the way back to hotel. come up it turned out that we went to an American grill steak accommodate. "Rodeo" for dinner today. It is just interesting to come to Europe and go to an American call restaurant. Normally. I would prefer more local cuisine. What can I say my co-worker was just a meat eater and wanted a big steak. And there was really an electric cow you could sit on it on and played rodeo. I ordered a combo of tenderloin (beef) and bear chop. It was not bad. Still a little bit too raw for me even it was medium done. My co-worker really liked the beer and he even managed to convinced the restaurant manager to sell him the glass served the beer. Apparently most of the places here served the beer in the brand matching furnish. After the dinner we went back to the bar in the hotel since my co-worker wanted to undergo more beer. I again ordered the discontinue ice tea. We asked the waitress what was the broach with all the sparkling ice tea and she said ice tea was desire that all over the Europe. They did not have gas-free (bubble-free) ice tea until almost one year ago and it was most for kids. :) And of course the ice tea came with the matching mark furnish. I have never seen the Lipton tea glass before. Quite interesting. Maybe I should buy a ice tea glass to act home too! go across the ocean from an island to this new arrive alone. Turned out to find a new life in another city next to a big be of water. Icy cold winter and nice warm pass attach the new chapter of my journal. This is just a snapshots of my footprints. In my 30s stronger and more muscular than any other time of my life.

That was a weird thing to say.. I'm pretty sure not every girl does undergo a press on a color guy. just like not every girl has a crush on a white guy. And it's not a press on Will Smith anyways. "Anything, Whatever, or..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-30 14:03:18

I recently made an interesting discovery. I'm sure you are familiar with the response. "anything..." or "whatever..." when asked a question as simple as "What would you like to consume?". Do NOT say either one of these in Singapore unless you are aware that you WILL be served a drink called "Anything" or "Whatever". It's found everywhere! From coffee shops to food courts to roadside peddlars. Basically. "Anything" is carbonated and is made in 6 flavours: Cola. Cola with Lemon. Apple. bubble Up. Cloudy Lemon and Root Beer. "Whatever" is non-carbonated and is made in six flavours as iced tea: Ice Lemon Tea. Peach Tea. Jasmine color Tea. White Grape Tea. Apple Tea and Chrysanthemum Tea. (construe more about it by clicking ) To put it simply these drinks come in a generic can so it's anyone's anticipate what you'll get once you pop that can open hehe. When I tried it. I got a Cola in my can of "Anything" and an Ice Lemon Tea in my can of "Whatever". Sadly. I can't sight this in Malaysia. However. I did have a deja vu undergo a couple of days ago. Jason had given me a can of Ice Tea Mango which I'd dutifully chilled in the fridge to make the undergo of drinking this new variety of Ice Tea exceed. Little did I know or even expect when I took a sip - it tasted like an isotonic consume!! Thinking the food I was eating must've interfered with my tastebuds. I decided to pour a little bit out into a cup. There is was.. fizzy (carbonated) and whitish coloured liquid. Could it be the manufacturer filled the can with the do by consume (cos the manufacturer also has a line of isotonic drink)? Or is Malaysia about to undergo it's own line of "Anything" and "Whatever"? Took a whiff... Smells like isotonic.
